The following are some recommended E-groups for those New to Heathenry and Asatru |

| The Havamal Studies list is a more mellow list, less apt to erupt into bickering over scholastic points of difference. It is highly recommended for anyone who would like to learn more about different interpretations of the Havamal. | |
|

Asa-Parents,
owned and operated by a member of our kindred , is a very popular group for
asking parenting questions and getting answers from other parents who have
gone through the same things that you maybe experiencing raising your
children in the Heathen tradition. With around a hundred members, all of
whom are raising their children Heathen, this list is pretty
active.
As a compliment to the Asa-Parents list, JoAnn created a kid's list for the children of this list's members. The kids list is monitored by her and admittance is only for children whose parent is a member of the Asa-Parents list. In order for a child to be allowed in, the member must write to JoAnn individually and request their child to be allowed in. In conjunction with the two lists, she organized a Pen Pal program for the kids and had 34 Heathen kids participating, from many different parts of the US and Canada. |

The discussions in Our Meadhall are varied and lively. Topics range all over the board from lore based to social issues. Very little is off-topic in the Hall. Be careful what you say, as ill thought out posts are often flung back at you. We do highly recommended that if you join their ranks, you take a bit of time to sit back and listen. Learn from those around you, before jumping into the fray! They are a wonderful group of strong willed Heathens/Asatru and each year hold a live Moot, which is great for building ties within the Heathen community! |
